Get to know joey callahan
I'm Joey Callahan, Republican candidate for Alabama House District 32 and a lifelong resident of East Central Alabama. I was raised in Pell City and have called Lincoln home for 25 years. My wife, Nicole, and I are proud to be raising our son, Jackson, a freshman at Auburn University.
My career has been built on service and leadership. I spent 16 years as Assistant Fire Chief for the City of Lincoln, protecting families and keeping our community safe. I then served nine years on the Lincoln City Council, where I worked to bring in new businesses, improve city services, and make life better for our citizens.
For more than 20 years, I've worked in construction. Today I own and run GC Construction Group, a land development and general contracting business. As a small business owner, I understand the challenges facing working families and small businesses in our local economy.
In the Legislature, I'll focus on practical policies that get results — stronger community services, better schools and job training, and smart growth for our district. My priority is simple: making everyday life better for the families I serve. I'll support efforts to bring in new industry and higher-paying jobs, and I'll stay accessible and accountable to the people of our district if elected to represent them in Montgomery.

- The district covers most of Talladega County and the southern portion of Calhoun County.
- Approximately 40,000 residents
- Includes parts of Anniston, Lincoln, Oxford, Saks, Childersburg, and Talladega.
